M.S. ALTarawneh received the BE degree in computer engineering from Azerbaijan Technical University, Baku, Azerbaijan, the master's degree from University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan. and PhD from Newcastle University, UK. He has worked as site engineer, Assistant Manager of Computer Center, Mutah University, Jordan, and as Lecturer at computer engineering dept. Mutah University, Jordan. His current research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, image processing, image quality assessment, and biometrics. He is a full member of Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), member of Arab Computer Society (ACS), and member of IET, UK.
